A woman has died after being fatally shot in the drive-thru of McDonalds located at 8590 Baymeadows Road according to the Jacksonville Sherrif's Office.
The victim was driving a silver Chrysler 300 sedan when someone walked up and shot her while she was ordering around 8:30am. No one else was injured in the shooting, but police received a vague description of the gunman: heavy-set black male with low cut hair, possibly driving a white four-door sedan.
Police are actively investigating the crime and asking the public to share any information they may have about this murder.
