“Safer At Home” Executive Order mandating Citizens Stay in their Homes

During his daily videoconference with city officials and the media Wednesday morning, Mayor Lenny Curry announced a “Safer At Home” executive order mandating citizens stay in their homes except for critical and essential needs beginning Friday at 12:01 am.

Essential functions include healthcare providers, grocery stores, gas stations, financial institutions, daycares, hardware stores, laundromats, restaurants (for takeout & delivery), and more.
