Jacksonville comes in at #10 on Travel + Leisures' “10 Best Places to Live on the East Coast.”
Jacksonville's beaches had a lot to do with getting the city on the list, with 22 miles of white- sand beaches and the fact that Jacksonville's Beaches -- Atlantic, Neptune and Jacksonville, are more affordable that some other beachside cities in other parts of the state of Florida.
Jacksonville also has the largest urban park system in the country, two national parks, a national preserve, and 400 city parks.
