USF Wins Conference Opener Against Charlotte

The USF Bulls (4-1, 1-0) blew out Charlotte (1-4, 0-2) 54-26 on Friday night at Raymond James Stadium to win their conference opener.

The Bulls posted 631 yards of offense in the blowout win, including 407 yards on the ground. Bulls quarterback Byrum Brown went 19-for-34 with 211 yards passing throwing for four touchdowns and two interceptions - he also ran for 162 yards and another touchdown. For Brown, it was his sixth career 100-yard rushing game.

The Bulls will look to build on this win when they travel to North Texas to play the Mean Green next Friday night. Kickoff in that game is scheduled for 7:30 PM on October 10th.
