We know the Covid-19 virus is spread by droplets, so wearing a face mask in public is recommended. But what about gloves?
Wearing gloves in public is actually NOT recommended as they can transfer germs easily. Gloves really are meant for health care workers to use, not for grocery store shopping. Plus, I've seen them littered across parking lots and left on shopping carts.
They best ways to protect your self and best ways to avoid getting the Coronavirus are washing your hands with soap and water (:20 seconds), wipe down surfaces, don't touch your face and practice social isolation/distancing.
And for the love of God, if you do wear gloves, THROW THEM AWAY IN THE TRASH NOT ON THE PARKING LOT GROUND. Keep Jacksonville beautiful. Thanks.
