400-acre wildfire closes I-95 near Duval-Nassau County line

7 miles of I-95 has been shut down due to a wildfire burning near the Duval-Nassau County Line going in both directions.

According to News4Jax "Both directions of I-95 between State Road 200 in Yulee and Pecan Park Road in North Jacksonville have been closed because of the Yellow Bluff Fire."

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the detours are:

I-95 northbound: east on Pecan Park Road, north on U.S. 17

I-95 southbound: east on S.R. 200, south on U.S. 17

As of about 1 p.m. Thursday, according to FFS, the wildfire was estimated at 200 acres in size, but the wildfire doubled in size -- to 400 acres -- in a span of two hours. At last check, the Yellow Bluff Fire was 25% contained, FFS reported.
