So what does Styx meets Rage Against The Machine sound like?
Well Dennis DeYoung of Styx fame has teamed up Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave for a new song called "The Last Guitar Hero".
I will be honest, it reminds me of a song you would hear in the opening of a T.V cartoon show. The song sounds more like Styx than Rage, but Tom's main part which is around the 2:30 mark is, of course, awesome! Take a listen and judge for yourself!
The song will appear on Dennis DeYoung’s album, 26 East, Vol. 2, which is out June 11th.
