Cheers to the creativity of one halloween lover as he set up a skeleton dancing on a city sign pole turned stripper pole. That got the attention of city officials in Grantsville, UT pretty quick. The "stripper pole" is city property as the skeleton was attached to a street sign. The homeowner got a warning to remove it or face a fine. So, was the city masking their anger that this display was inappropriate and used the code violation to have it taken down OR were they just wanting rules followed?
It worked out for the homeowner as he moved his display to the front yard, now featuring a stage, other skeletons sitting around the stripper pole with a tip jar!
