TMZ is apologizing for falsely reporting that Beyoncé would perform on the final night of the Democratic National Convention.
The celebrity gossip outlet claimed that the Superstar would sing before Vice President Kamala Harris accepted the Democratic presidential nomination inside Chicago’s United Center.
However, the site was forced to admit it "got this one wrong" as the event wrapped up with Beyonce a no show.
As was veteran singer-songwriter James Taylor, who was slated to perform earlier in the week, got bumped for time as the night ran long in the Windy City.
