LINK: New COQUI App Tips Illegals To Nearby ICE Agents

A new app could make it harder for ICE to arrest illegal immigrants in South Florida. The app is called Coqui and informs users know if immigration agents are in the area. Coqui is the name of  several species of small frogs native to Puerto Rico, and they are known for a distinct sound made. The app is designed to sound the frog tone alarm when ICE is near.

The Coqui app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The company's website is at GETCOQUI.COM

On its website Coqui writes:

With Coquí, you can quickly flag activities, instantly alert your trusted network and receive notifications when you're near reported locations. Upload photos, chat privately and discover local businesses that also use the app, all while maintaining your total privacy. Coquí puts the power back in your hands. Together, we can.

It's not the first app to alert illegal migrants of ICE agent's locations. See below.
